Have you bathed today? Shower with Gym Mama!

I forgot! How could I forget??

Dan (aka the handsome, talented and fantastic Mr. GymMama) and I took the plunge and started our own soap company! Who knew?! I figure fitness and soap go hand in hand, right? You have to bathe. Well, I'm hoping and praying you bathe. Especially if you're going to be anywhere near me. So, now you can bathe with Gym Mama! Er, maybe that's not exactly the right way to word it.

Anyway, you can find all of our handmade, yummy good soaps and lip balms at www.GreenHillSoapCo.com. We have Rapid Cart installed from ArtFire (did I mention anywhere in this blog how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ArtFire?!) and you can checkout without ever having to register for the site. How cool is that?!

So, take a moment, check it out and give a bar a try. You'll love how your skin feels afterwards and you'll be so happy to know that the ingredients are natural and good.

Oh, and while you're in your make-up/hair care products/lotions/scrubs today check to see if there's diazolidinol urea in any of your products. Know why you should check? Cause it releases formaldehyde. Formaldehyde. Into your skin. Seriously? Not good.

Pay It Forward

Pay It Forward.

Remember that movie? Maybe not the best acting or well made, but a superb message. Give. Give and do it freely. No strings attached. No expectations, but that the person you give to will do something for someone else.

We need that a lot these days. Any act, big or small, counts. It gives you the warm fuzzies when you do it. Don't believe me? Try it. Today. And then let me know how it goes.

3 Bites are NOT enough

My mom has a new blog, Closing In On Sixty, that made me chuckle today. She said she read in a magazine that you can take three bites of something not on your diet and that will satisfy your sweet tooth. I have a couple of questions about that theory...

1. How big can those bites be? Seriously, I think unless those three bites can equal 12 normal size bites, my sweet tooth is not going to be satisfied.

2. Why 3?? (See concern addressed in question #1)

3. Can you take 3 bites of one piece and 3 bites of another piece (and so on and so forth)? (Again, same concern)
