100 Things in 100 Days

I chat with a woman, a very talented writer actually, named Claudia who is the author of the Denver Cereal series. She mentioned that she is compiling her list of 100 things to accomplish in the first 100 days of the year. My, what a lofty goal, I thought. Surely, it cannot be done by the average woman who homeschools three children and has now launched her freelance writing career. Well, you know I can't let a challenge pass me by. So, I'm about to tackle it.

Now Claudia does not share her list. Which actually, is a very safe thing and if I were a wiser woman perhaps I would guard mine behind a locked vault. But, alas, I feel the intense desire to share it. A desire to include you in my success as I check off the accomplishments, so that only if to remind you that it can be done. Do I say that with staunch authority on January 1, 2010? Hardly. The poor declaration is said with wobbly resolve and persistent doubts. But I shall give it a go.

So, here's to accomplishing 100 things in the first 100 days of 2010. Thanks for joining me for the ride.

Of course, none of this will be possible without the help of Amish pretzels and sticky buns. ;) So nice to see you here, Debra!
